Everything from Whippy Cake is handmade here in Arizona so make sure you can't live without your whippy cakes before you commit to buy them because we do not accept returns, i.e. all sales are final.
If you happen to change your mind and want to exchange your whippy cake, we only accept exchanges within 45 days of your purchase date. The buyer is responsible for the price of the shipping of the product back to our headquarters (my home studio) as well as the price of shipping of the new item back to you. When we ship out the new item, we will charge your card on file for the shipping cost. Please contact admin@whippycake.com to make an exchange.
In the rare event that there is something defective with your Glamour Band you can send it back and we will replace it for you. We must receive the defective item within 45 days of your purchase date. The buyer is responsible for return shipping for the defective item, but we will pay for the shipping of the replacement item back to you. If we flubbed up your order and sent the wrong item to you, then please send it back and we will get you the right item stat! Again, we must receive the wrong item back within 45 days of your purchase date. The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs back to us, but we will pay for the shipping of the correct item back to you. If we really flubbed up and just flat out forgot one of your items, then let us know within 45 days of your purchase date and we will send out the missing item asap. All clear? Please contact admin@whippycake.com for any questions about defective, incorrect, or missing items.
Our confections are packaged in sweet confectionary bags then shipped in a padded mailer. Whippy cakes are shipped first class mail via USPS. Orders normally ship within 2 weeks upon receipt of payment. It is possible that fulfillment times could be longer if a stampede of orders comes in all at once. If this is the case we will have an update for shipping times on the blog. You will receive a notification email with a tracking number when your package has shipped. We mindfully package and ship our items with care but we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages once we have shipped them off to you. We recommend getting shipping insurance for $2.00 during checkout to protect your goods during travel.
We do ship internationally but please allow an additional 5-8 days for shipping. All orders outside of the U.S. of A. and Canada are $8.00.
We do our best to prepare for mobs of Whippy Cake lovers and buyers but occasionally we do get backed up so if you need your order by a certain date please oh please be mindful of our normal turnaround time of 2 weeks from your purchase date. If you cannot wait that long, we have a rush order option for an additional $10.00. Rush orders are shipped within 2 business days of your purchase. If for some reason we cannot fulfill the rush order, we will refund the $10.00 fee back to you and ship the order within the 2 week turnaround period.

It is when you get to use our discounts and promo codes. Promo codes can only be used through the online shopping cart. If you are lucky enough to have multiple promo codes, please note that you can only use one promo code per order. Be sure to use your discounts before they expire. Expired promo codes will not be honored.
We currently do NOT take custom orders. We wish we could, but we simply do not have the time or means.
Unfortunately, we do NOT do special orders for weddings at this time.

We've said it over and over again but just in case you missed it our items are handmade plus we hand pick the delicate materials and adornments. Here are some easy things to do in order to preserve your Glamour Band as long as possible:
1. Do NOT wash them, wear them in the shower or take them swimming with you. They don't know how to swim.
2. Keep them in a box, bag or pouch and away from objects that might tear, snag or fray the materials.
3. Glamour Bands belong on your head, not in your bed. We know you will want to wear them 24 hours a day but you should remove them while sleeping.
4. They are made with Velcro and Velcro catches on everything so we think it's best to always have an appliqué attached to the Velcro so it's not running wild in your drawer bullying the delicate accessories around it.
5. Speaking of delicate, our lace headbands are very delicate and you should never let them near anything that will snag or fray them like bare Velcro, zippers, cheese graters and other raw and sharp edges.
6. While we know that Glamour Bands look fabulous for any event and occasion, we suggest you leave your Glamour Band in a safe place while participating in food fights, paint projects, dyes, athletic activities, kindergarten art classes and other risky situations just to be safe.
7. If you like your pieces neat and tidy without one thread out of place you can use our little trick (at your OWN risk, with adult supervision). Take a lighter and very carefully and lightly graze over the fly-aways to singe any unwanted frays and strings. Only do this for half a second at a time. If you do allow it to burn for more than half a second at a time you risk discoloration and withering. Please be very careful NOT to burn yourself or your appliqué to ashes since we don't replace burnt items and we don't sell burn cream.
